(250708) -- BUENOS AIRES, July 8, 2025 (Xinhua) -- People walk through the fog-covered streets in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on July 8, 2025. According to Argentina's National Meteorological Service (SMN), central regions of the country were hit by widespread fog, prompting a violet-level weather alert for the capital Buenos Aires and surrounding provinces. The thick fog caused flight delays and diversions at multiple airports, disrupted urban transportation, and reduced visibility to less than 100 meters in some areas. (Xinhua/Meng Dingbo)
